Dr. Donica Harper, PhD, LCPC, is a licensed clinician, clinical supervisor, coach, and consultant dedicated to creating spaces where people and organizations can heal, grow, and thrive. She is the founder of C.R.E.A.T.E. Moments, an agency built on the belief that powerful change begins with connection, trust, and acknowledgment of lived experience. Through this platform, Dr. Harper leads JEDI and employee wellness workshops, clinical supervision and consultation, career and ADHD coaching, and mindfulness practices, offering a unique blend of evidence-based psychology, cultural humility, and practical tools for sustainable impact.

Dr. Harper earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University, where her dissertation explored positive identity affirmation and resiliency in QPOC supervisees as a protective factor against microaggressions in the supervisory working alliance. She also holds a Master of Arts in Psychology with a specialization in military culture and families from Adler University, a Graduate Certificate in Professional Counseling Studies from the University of Baltimore, and dual bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Psychology from Winston-Salem State University.

With licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor& Board Approved Supervisor in Maryland and Washington, DC, Dr. Harper brings extensive experience across settings—including private practice, community mental health, hospitals, and higher education. She is also the Owner and Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Pathways, a group practice that provides identity-affirming care while training the next generation of clinicians. In both leadership roles, her vision remains clear: to advance equity-centered mental health care while equipping individuals and systems with the tools to thrive.

Her clinical and consultation work focuses on trauma, grief, PTSD, racial identity, systemic oppression, sexual identity, attachment issues, and ADHD. She is particularly passionate about supporting first responders, military personnel, LGBTQIA+ communities, and college-aged adults. Beyond the therapy room, she helps organizations reduce burnout, repair harm, and strengthen cultures of psychological safety through tailored JEDI and wellness programming.

As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and trained brainspotting clinician, Dr. Harper integrates trauma-informed practice with reflective, humanistic supervision. She has presented nationally on racial equity, identity, and wellness—including at the American Psychological Association, National Multicultural Conference & Summit, and other major professional gatherings. Her published work further underscores her commitment to dismantling systemic barriers while amplifying resilience in communities of color.

Whether facilitating a workshop, mentoring an early-career clinician, coaching someone navigating ADHD, or leading a guided mindfulness practice on YouTube, Dr. Harper’s work is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and accountability. Her approach is both deeply personal and structurally informed—recognizing that true wellness requires addressing not only the individual but also the systems that shape our daily lives.
