Pause. Reflect. Honor the stories, struggles, and strengths that live within and around us.

Acknowledge: Honoring What Shapes Us

We recognize that none of us exists in isolation. The macrosystem—the larger cultural, political, and economic forces that shape our daily lives—profoundly impacts businesses, individuals, and communities. Policies, power structures, global conflicts, and cultural narratives ripple into our workplaces, relationships, and well-being.

To acknowledge this truth is to affirm that the challenges we face are personal and systemic. It also calls us to be mindful of how our work either disrupts or sustains inequities.

At C.R.E.A.T.E. Moments, we firmly believe that justice, equity, and dignity for all people are non-negotiable. We do not support genocide, systemic oppression, or any act of violence that undermines humanity. Instead, we commit to creating spaces of reflection, healing, and accountability—where we can better understand what shapes us, and move together toward growth and liberation.

Acknowledgment of the Macrosystem

Ancestral Acknowledgment

We honor the ancestors whose strength, wisdom, and resilience made it possible for us to gather here today. We acknowledge that our journeys are carried on the backs of those who endured hardship, displacement, oppression, and struggle—yet also passed down traditions of healing, creativity, resistance, and love.

We recognize that the systems we live and work within were shaped by histories of colonization, racism, and inequity. To acknowledge our ancestors is to affirm both their sacrifices and their brilliance, and to take responsibility for how we continue their unfinished work.

At C.R.E.A.T.E. Moments, we hold space for these truths while choosing to build futures rooted in justice, dignity, and wholeness. We walk forward with gratitude, courage, and a commitment to honoring all those who came before us by creating moments of healing, equity, and liberation.
